| Spitfire Forge was established in 1996. The shop as a business has sustained me since, with most of my clients being building contractors, designers and architects. Working as a blacksmith today, I have had the pleasure to problem solve concepts and experiment with all kinds of metals and methods to achieve a body of work that is in use in peoples homes. I usually work alone, and enjoy being fluent in my tools and in the shop doing exactly what I love to do. | ||
I share my new shop with my partner, Christian Ristow, who is a robotics artist and machinist. Together we have 2000 sq.ft of space filled with any imaginable tool of the trade. Being able to create almost anything out of metal has become our way of life and provides us with endless problem solving and joy. We are always getting our hands dirty working on a variety of artistic projects. |  | |
