Christina has been teaching Women’s Welding Workshops since 1996 in Taos, New Mexico. She discovered that these workshops are an important avenue for women to get into a shop environment and that creating out of metal is often an empowering and transformative experience. She has been facilitating national workshops as week-long retreats since 2000 and continues to hold local classes for women, men and young adults. She has taught Women’s Welding Workshops in Tucson, Arizona as well as arc welding and forging at The Crucible in San Francisco. Teaching welding and de-mystifying metal is one of her passions.
